I'm a Political Science Ph.D. student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Prior to joining UWM, I received my Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in International Relations from Bilkent University. My MA thesis focused on microfoundations of foreign policy decision-making. 

My research interests include  emerging technologies, foreign policy analysis, conflict, international security. Methodologically, I'm interested in quantitative methods, mixed methods, and computational social science.

My research has been published by Wiley-IEEE, Journal of Security Sciences.
